And hack #8 is…
Cleanse your kitchen.
In the last hack you learned about the importance of grocery shopping, and the importance of only bringing healthy foods into your kitchen.
There’s just one problem: right now, your kitchen already has way too much junk food in it.
Doritos in the cabinet…cake mix in the pantry…ice cream in the freezer…
The list goes on.
Now, remember what I said in hack #7: if those foods are in your house, you WILL eat them—sooner or later.
That’s a fact.
Over time, if you follow hack #7 and stick to a grocery list, you will eventually run out of junk food. Because you’ll eat it and you won’t replace it.
But why not speed up the process?
When I say “cleanse your kitchen,” what I mean is go through your kitchen and put all your junk food…in the trash. Throw it away. Potato chips, Oreos, Doritos, ice cream, brownie mix, candy, cake, pie—all that stuff.
Throw it out.
If you don’t like wasting food, then donate it. But either way, you need to get that junk food out of your house IMMEDIATELY.
Cleansing your kitchen is an awesome feeling. For one thing, it’s practical. You’ll probably throw away tens of thousands of calories that would otherwise go in your mouth, down your throat, and on your butt.
It also gives you a great starting point. It turns your kitchen into a pristine place. A healthy place.
When you know that there is zero junk-food in your kitchen, you’ll be less likely to contaminate it in the future—instead, you’ll work harder to keep it the pristine, healthy space it should be.
At the same time, cleansing your kitchen causes a shift in your BRAIN. It’s a fresh start. It feels good. And it makes a statement.
By taking this drastic action, you are declaring to yourself, your family, and the universe that you are SERIOUS about transforming your body.
And you are not going to poison your body with this high-calorie chemical-laden crap anymore.
Now go cleanse your kitchen, and make your statement.
