So how do you do it?
Well, it’s simple.
(Which is not to be confused with “easy.”)
To lose weight in your face, you have to lose a significant amount of fat from your entire body.
This means:
- Eating a calorie deficit
- Exercising more
- Decreasing your body fat percentage
- Eliminating bloating/water weight
That’s it, guys. It’s that simple.
(And that hard.)
The Danger of Doing “Double-Chin Exercises”
Let me be 100% clear:
There are NO “face exercises” that will help you lose weight from your face.
None. Zip. Zilch. Nada.
These are not how to lose face fat.
In fact, doing these so-called “double chin exercises” can actually have a serious downfall, which is making wrinkles worse.
Ever notice that people tend to get wrinkles in the spots where they are habitually frown?
(Such as the forehead, around the eyes, and—for smokers—around the mouth?)
Those wrinkles are caused by habitual movements.
In other words, a lifetime of furrowing your brow will lead to permanent wrinkles in your forehead.
And most of these “face exercises” are movements like that—movements that have you stretching and scrunching up your face.
Keep doing these retarded exercises and you just may speed up the wrinkling process in your face.

The truth is that losing fat around your face is no different than losing fat around your midsection.
Just as crunches won’t give you a lean set of washboard abs, face exercises won’t give you a slimmer, more defined jawline.
You have to lose bodyfat. Period.
The GOOD NEWS is that unlike stubborn belly fat (which is often the last bit of fat to leave your body), face fat tends to come off relatively easy.
So when you start to lose weight, you should start to see a slimmer face in a relatively short amount of time.

BONUS: A “How to Lose Face Fat” Bonus Tip
Here’s a quick bonus tip for you:
Watch the sodium.
Anytime you eat too much sodium (mostly from processed foods and/or restaurant meals), that sodium causes your body to retain water.
And that makes you look and feel bloated—sometimes so much so that you can actually see it in your face.
If you don’t believe me, take a picture of yourself after a few days of eating healthy…then take another picture the morning after eating out at Chili’s.
You’ll see more swelling in your chin & neck.
