Weight loss tip #3 is this: always go OUT for dessert.
This is a super simple, yet highly effective weight loss tip.
Rather than buying a gallon of ice cream, or a box of cookies, or an entire cake… Instead, I want you to GO OUT for those junk foods.
Instead of buying ice cream at the grocery store, go out to a Dairy Queen or a local ice cream stand. Instead of buying cookies at the grocery store, go to a bakery and buy one cookie.
The Benefits of Going Out For Dessert
By forcing yourself to go OUT for dessert, you’re accomplishing 2 things:
First, you’re making it a little more difficult to eat dessert. A little bit of effort is involved, since you can’t just walk to the pantry or the freezer; instead, you have to actually get dressed, get in the car, and go somewhere.
It’s not a lot of work, but you’ll be surprised by how much this DECREASES the amount of desert you eat.
And the second thing this strategy accomplishes is damage control. Going out for an ice cream cone is…not the best thing for your diet. But one ice cream cone really is NOT that big of a deal. It’s just one serving.
Eating an entire container of ice cream, on the other hand, is much WORSE.
Eat Less Junk + Never Feel Deprived
By forcing yourself to go OUT for dessert, you are making yourself less likely to eat junk food…while still allowing yourself to eat the foods you love.
You end up eating a lot less junk food, withOUT having to feel like you’re depriving yourself.
It’s a great little weight loss tip that I highly recommend you put into practice starting today.
